Once Upon A Feeling...

Welcome to Elen’s World - a place of poetic transformations, sensory detail and imagined worlds brought to life.

I work across photography, styling, interiors, gardens, costume, writing, performance, installation, art direction and immersive environments. Each project begins with feeling: an intuitive response to beauty, story, memory, movement and atmosphere.

Romantic, tactile and often ethereal, my work draws on the quiet power of natural forms - flowers, foliage, organic materials, shadow, light, objects and the unseen poetry of everyday things.

Whether I am creating an image, a space, a costume, an installation or a performance world, I am always looking for the same thing: emotional coherence, beauty with meaning, and a world people can step inside.

Testimonials

“For my immersive solo exhibition, Unforgiving Lines, at Kings Mews Studios in December 2025, Elen developed the creative direction in deep dialogue with my artistic practice. Working intuitively with the emotional and material language of my paintings, she created a curatorial framework that expanded the work beyond the canvas and into an embodied experience.
My practice explores movement, memory, and the traces we leave behind through gesture and presence. Elen responded to these ideas with great sensitivity, shaping a journey through the exhibition that allowed the paintings, live dance performances, and audience to exist in a fluid, liminal relationship. Her approach transformed the space into something immersive and alive, inviting visitors to move through the work rather than simply observe it.
As part of the exhibition, Elen created Memory of Movement, an installation using my handmade rice-paper ink drawings of dancers in motion. This poetic intervention extended the themes of the exhibition, creating a space where atmosphere, memory, and embodied presence could unfold. Her ability to translate the emotional resonance of my work into spatial experience added a profound new dimension to the exhibition.“

“Elen transformed my tired garden studio into an aesthetic delight through her use of natural tones and contrasting textures while encapsulating the personality of my family through imaginatively incorporating our existing much loved furniture and accessories into the design. Elen most certainly has a flair and an eye for detail. The whole family now treasure this beautiful, calm space.“

“With Elen, it wasn’t just a photoshoot, it was an experience of being seen, understood, and captured in my most confident self. Her eye for detail, the way she plays with light, and her calm yet powerful energy brought out a confidence in me that felt effortless. One of the hero shots from that day became the inaugural front cover of my magazine and it left readers in awe. That image wasn’t just a photo of me; it embodied the essence of what we wanted to share: feminine confidence with compassion in her eyes. Elen truly understood me, my message, and captured it with perfection. I’m already excited for our next shoot and to see what magic we’ll create together.“
